109 fishermen were rescued from a drifting ice floe in the Sea of Okhotsk, east of Russia, after a crack formed in the ice. 44 were airlifted by helicopter, while others chose to stay with their catch. The remaining fishermen were rescued by boats. Stranding on ice floes is common in Sakhalin, where previous rescues have occurred. Teljes cikk (Euronews.com)
