Cikk tartalma röviden
The film '2073', directed by Asif Kapadia, is a cautionary tale that blends documentary and fiction to comment on the current state of the world and potential future dystopia. Inspired by Chris Marker’s 'La Jetée', it features a character living in a totalitarian future who sends a time capsule to the present, warning of the consequences of ignoring current events. The film includes real-life footage of political figures and societal issues, aiming to provoke thought and discussion about democracy and authoritarianism. Kapadia discusses the film's creation during the COVID-19 lockdown and reflects on the emotional toll of addressing heavy themes.
