Search teams discovered 25 bodies in a mass grave in Otaiba, a suburb of Damascus, believed to contain at least 175 bodies linked to a 2014 ambush by Assad's forces. Family members, including Samira Alloush searching for her son, visited the site for closure. The White Helmets' Amer Fahed stated excavation will wait for a proper mechanism from the National Commission for Missing Persons. The total body count may rise, with estimates suggesting 200 to 300 victims from the ambush.
