Cikk tartalma röviden
A report by Save the Children reveals that around 100 million of the 120 million children born in 2020 are at risk of extreme heat due to inadequate climate policies, which could lead to a temperature rise of 2.7°C or more. The report emphasizes the need to meet the 1.5°C target to protect children from severe climate impacts, including health risks and food insecurity. Personal accounts from affected children highlight the mental and academic toll of climate disasters. The charity calls for urgent action to prioritize children's needs in climate policies.
