Leaders from the Middle East and North Africa met to discuss a proposal for peace in Gaza, praised by regional press as a unified Arab position. While some officials see it as a step towards Palestinian self-determination, others criticize it for lacking concrete security measures and clarity on Hamas's role. The summit highlighted unity among Arab nations, though key leaders were absent, raising concerns about the proposal's effectiveness. Despite disagreements, many view the proposal as a starting point for future discussions.
