The ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine has prompted discussions on how to achieve peace, with proposals suggesting a model similar to post-WWII Germany. Ukraine must accept the reality of not reclaiming occupied territories through force and seek concrete security guarantees from Russia. Analysts highlight the unrealistic expectations of Ukrainian citizens and the West, which have been exacerbated by political leaders. President Zelenskyy is urged to involve the opposition in peace negotiations and seek a political consensus to find necessary compromises for a sustainable resolution.
