Cikk tartalma röviden
World leaders, negotiators, and NGOs are set to meet in Baku for COP29, focusing on global climate finance goals and national climate commitments. Notable absences include EU leaders Ursula von der Leyen, Emmanuel Macron, and Olaf Scholz, as well as other global leaders like Joe Biden and Vladimir Putin. Papua New Guinea has withdrawn in protest against the lack of support for climate change victims. The conference is expected to have a reduced attendance compared to previous years.
