Aithos, a Dutch non-profit, tested 12 popular AI models to see if they comply with the EU AI Act and GDPR. The results showed poor compliance, with the best model, Claude’s Opus 4.7, following the law only 54% of the time, while the worst, China’s Moonshot AI, complied in just 7%. The study highlighted that even advanced AI models struggle to adhere to EU regulations, raising concerns about their deployment as agents.
