Ai Weiwei: "We are losing privacy and without it we stop being individuals"

Ai Weiwei, a prominent Chinese artist and activist, warns about the loss of privacy in modern society, stating that without it, individuals cease to exist as unique entities. During a recent talk in Brussels, he emphasized the dangers of self-censorship in Western democracies and the role of art in political dissent. His works, such as 'Sunflower Seeds' and 'Remembering', reflect his commitment to highlighting individual stories and injustices, urging the audience to recognize the power of the individual in effecting change.
