Liechtenstein is poised to have its first female prime minister, Brigitte Haas, after her conservative party won 38.3% of the votes in the recent election. The Fatherland Union maintained its 10 seats in parliament, while the Progressive Citizens' Party saw a decline in support. Overall voter turnout was 76.3%.
