The Right Livelihood Award, known as the alternative Nobel Prize, has honored women and women-led organizations confronting authoritarianism, patriarchy, and unregulated AI development. Four laureates, including Jalila Haider and Timnit Gebru, were selected from 200 nominees across 72 countries and will receive their awards on December 1 in Stockholm. The award aims to provide long-term support for their impactful work in promoting justice and human rights.
