Nan Goldin, an American photographer and activist, condemned Israel's actions in Gaza during her exhibition opening in Berlin. She expressed her moral outrage, linking the situation to historical pogroms and the Holocaust. Goldin emphasized the need to differentiate between criticism of Israel and antisemitism, while also addressing the repercussions faced by artists voicing dissent. Her remarks sparked a strong reaction, including chants for Palestinian freedom, and drew criticism from German officials. The exhibition showcases her work and activism.
