Archaeologists at Løsning Søndermark in Denmark have discovered an exceptionally rare Roman-era helmet and around 100 weapons, believed to be part of an ancient ritual offering. This find, the first Roman helmet in Denmark, provides insights into Iron Age practices. The excavation revealed chainmail associated with a settlement, bronze neck rings likely belonging to a chieftain, and suggests the weapons were buried ceremonially after a battle. Ongoing excavations aim to uncover more about the site's significance. Teljes cikk (Euronews.com)
