Around 112 migrants were rescued off the coast of Libya and arrived in Tuscany, Italy, aboard the Ocean Viking ship. The migrants, primarily from Bangladesh, Egypt, Somalia, and Syria, were saved during two operations over the weekend. The International Organization for Migration reported that many migrants have gone missing or died in the Mediterranean this year, with a significant increase in deaths on the Atlantic route.
