A fire at a biscuit factory in central Greece has resulted in at least four deaths and several injuries. The fire broke out during the night shift, preceded by a powerful explosion. The factory, located near Trikala, was known for producing a significant amount of biscuits and had a strong market presence. Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis has stated that an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the incident.
