Herbert Kickl, the leader of Austria's far-right FPÖ, announced the collapse of coalition talks with the conservative ÖVP. The discussions became tense due to policy disagreements and control over ministries. Kickl's leadership has been controversial, and while the FPÖ won the most votes in September, finding allies has been challenging. ÖVP officials cited Kickl's behavior as a key issue, while Kickl blamed the ÖVP for the breakdown. The situation may lead to new elections if coalition negotiations fail.
