Deep Shambarkar, a 25-year-old student from Maharashtra, India, faces deportation from Germany after his university, IU, was deemed to lack proper accreditation. He has invested €20,000 in his studies and is now dealing with the authorities instead of completing his master's thesis. Many students, including Tanishq from Delhi, are in similar situations, feeling cheated and helpless. The university has suspended new admissions due to ongoing legal issues, and students are suffering from mental health problems as they navigate this crisis.
