British Airways (BA) is set to introduce in-flight phone calls with the launch of Starlink wifi on its Houston-bound 787-8 aircraft. This service, which offers high-speed internet, aims to enhance the customer experience. However, the idea of in-flight calls has sparked controversy, with some experts advocating for quiet zones and cautioning against intrusive conversations. While BA plans to roll out this service across its fleet, the US has stricter regulations against in-flight calls, with a majority of the public supporting a ban on them.
