Bastien Mérigot tengerbiológus, a Montpellier Egyetemről a DolphinFree nevű projekten dolgozik, hogy a delfinekkel kommunikáljon egy bio-ihlette akusztikus jeladó segítségével. Marine biologist Bastien Mérigot from the University of Montpellier is working on a project called DolphinFree to communicate with dolphins using a bio-inspired acoustic beacon. This device emits sounds in the frequencies dolphins understand to help them avoid getting caught in fishing nets, which have caused many dolphin deaths since 2016, particularly in the Bay of Biscay.
