Captain of suspected Russian shadow tanker in French custody 😔
Cikk tartalma röviden
French officials have detained the Indian captain of the Grinch, a tanker suspected of being part of a Russian shadow fleet, after it was intercepted by the French navy. The tanker, traveling from Murmansk, is under guard in a southern French port. President Macron stated that the shadow fleet finances Russia's war against Ukraine. The investigation focuses on the validity of the tanker's flag, which is reported to be from the Comoros Islands. Sanctions on Russian energy have been imposed by many Western countries since the invasion of Ukraine.
