Chinese President Xi Jinping visited Cambodia as part of a Southeast Asian tour to strengthen relations. He emphasized China's support for Cambodia's strategic autonomy and development. Trade discussions are anticipated, especially in light of US tariffs. The visit coincides with the 50th anniversary of the Khmer Rouge takeover, a period marked by genocide, for which China has faced accusations of support.
