Meta has launched the first digital twin 'metaversities' in Europe, allowing students to attend classes in a virtual environment resembling their physical campuses. The University of Leeds has already started offering metaverse classes, with more institutions like the University of the Basque Country and schools in Hannover set to follow. VictoryXR, Meta's partner, has created digital versions of over 130 campuses, enabling hands-on learning experiences that traditional video calls cannot provide.
