Cikk tartalma röviden
The European Commission has announced a €2.9 billion plan to boost investments in green fuels by 2027 to reduce carbon emissions from aviation and maritime transport, which account for 26.4% of EU transport emissions. The plan aims to help the EU achieve its climate-neutrality goal by 2050, requiring significant investments in sustainable fuels. Key stakeholders emphasize the need for affordable sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and express concerns over the reliance on biofuels. The initiative is seen as a crucial step towards a cleaner transport system in Europe.
