A conservation project in Ireland is underway to preserve a 650-year-old ecclesiastical register that belonged to Archbishop Milo Sweteman. Experts at PRONI are repairing its fragile pages as part of a broader initiative to safeguard historical records from the medieval period. The register, which contains various legal documents, is rare, with paper from before 1450 being particularly scarce.
