Petr Fiala, the Czech Prime Minister, announced that the country is prepared to fully transition to Western oil supplies in case of a loss of Russian shipments. After 60 years, the Czech Republic will become independent from the Russian Druzhba oil pipeline, with plans to completely sever ties by mid-2023. The TAL pipeline expansion, initiated by the Czech Republic, is set to increase capacity from 4 million to 8 million tons of oil. The transition to other oil sources is technologically ready, with a gradual decrease in Russian oil usage. Teljes cikk (Telex.hu)
