Milan Kundera's ashes have been repatriated to his hometown of Brno, Czechia, fulfilling his wish to be buried there. The Morovian Library confirmed that both Kundera and his wife Věra's urns will be placed in a tomb in Brno once it is completed in 2025. Kundera, a Czech-French writer known for his influential works, lived in France after being expelled from Czechoslovakia's Communist Party.
