Truck checks at the Czech-Slovak border continue due to fears of foot-and-mouth disease spreading. Czech Agriculture Minister Marek Výborný mentioned that restrictions may be lifted 30 days after the last infected animal is culled in Slovakia. Slovakia declared a state of emergency after three cases were found. Temporary border checks with Hungary and Austria have been reintroduced as a precaution.
