Queen Margrethe of Denmark underwent an angioplasty after being hospitalized for chest pain. The procedure took place at Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen. Although she has a history of smoking and has faced health issues, she is reported to be in good condition and will remain in the hospital for a few more days. Margrethe abdicated in 2024 after 52 years on the throne and is known for her contributions to the arts.
