Deposit, drink, return: Lisbon is the first European capital with a citywide reusable cup scheme 😊
Cikk tartalma röviden
Lisbon has launched a citywide reusable cup system to combat plastic waste and promote sustainability in its nightlife and restaurant sectors. Consumers can pay a deposit for drinks in reusable cups, which is refunded upon return. The initiative, supported by TOMRA and local associations, aims to reduce emissions and encourage a culture of reuse, with full implementation expected by October 2025.
