Did FC Porto's former president predict the Lisbon earthquake on the day of his funeral?
Cikk tartalma röviden
A fake front page of an old Portuguese newspaper claims that Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa predicted an earthquake in Lisbon on the day of his funeral. The page, dated 30 July 2005, quotes him saying Lisbon would feel an earthquake when he was buried. However, the page is fabricated, as it was actually the last issue of the newspaper, which celebrated its farewell. Pinto da Costa, who passed away on 15 February 2024, was a significant figure in Portuguese football, known for his rivalry with Lisbon teams.
