The EU is offering 36,000 free rail passes to 18-year-olds under the DiscoverEU scheme, allowing young Europeans to explore their neighboring countries and cultures. Eligible applicants must be born between July 1, 2006, and June 30, 2007, and can apply from April 2 to April 16, 2025. Successful applicants will receive a rail pass valid for travel in Europe for up to 30 days between July 1, 2025, and September 30, 2026, and are encouraged to become 'DiscoverEU Ambassadors' by sharing their travel experiences.
