A transgender storyline has been cut from Pixar's upcoming series 'Win or Lose', although the character will remain in a background role. Disney stated that many parents prefer to discuss certain subjects with their children on their own terms. This decision reflects a trend of removing LGBTQ+ themes from Disney content, particularly after the 'Don't Say Gay' bill in Florida. The actor Chanel Stewart expressed disappointment over the removal of her character's plot, which was meant to authentically portray a transgender teenage girl.
