An experienced zookeeper at Beekse Bergen safari park in the Netherlands died days after a leopard enclosure attack. The 40-year staff member sustained critical head and neck injuries, received emergency surgery, and died after an independent investigation was announced. The park notes the leopards were usually kept away from staff and that CCTV inside the enclosure is absent.
