The editor-in-chief of a far-right German media outlet received a seven-month suspended sentence for sharing a manipulated photo of Interior Minister Faeser, who he must apologize to. The altered image misrepresented Faeser’s message about remembering victims of National Socialism. The court found that viewers might not recognize the manipulation. Faeser filed a complaint after being alerted by police, while Bendels plans to appeal, claiming the post was satirical. Teljes cikk (Euronews.com)
