Europe's aviation sector has issued a critical warning regarding the Schengen Entry/Exit System (EES), highlighting severe disruptions for travelers during peak summer months. In an open letter, industry leaders urged the EU to allow temporary suspensions of the system to alleviate excessive wait times at border controls. The World Travel & Tourism Council also emphasized the need for coordinated action to ensure the EES enhances security without compromising the travel experience.
