Egypt, Greece, and Cyprus have reaffirmed their commitment to export Cypriot gas to Europe via Egyptian facilities, aiming to enhance energy security amid ongoing supply disruptions. The Cronos gas project, expected to begin production in 2028, will utilize existing infrastructure to facilitate this export. The leaders also discussed broader energy cooperation, including plans for an undersea power cable to connect their electricity systems.
