An Egyptian cucumber farmer discovered ancient carvings and alerted authorities, leading to the uncovering of two colossal Ramses II statue fragments. The head stands 1.6 meters tall, with another large fragment and a pink granite block bearing hieroglyphs found nearby. Excavations continue to determine how the pieces fit together, while the farmer and his wife received a pilgrimage prize and regional support was discussed.
