EU metalworkers demand job protections amid green transition 😔
Cikk tartalma röviden
Metalworkers from Europe gathered in Brussels to voice concerns over job security amid the green transition. They demand stronger worker protections and effective training programs from the EU. The 'Just Transition Fund' has been criticized for being inadequate, as nearly one million industrial jobs have been lost since 2019, with potential for millions more. Trade unions are pushing for better collaboration with companies to manage these changes.
