The European Parliament hearings to select the next European Data Protection Supervisor (EDPS) are scheduled for January 16. The hearings were postponed to allow preparation time for candidates and lawmakers. Current EDPS Wojciech Wiewiórowski and professor François Pellegrini are among the shortlisted candidates.
