The EU has lifted a ban on poultry imports from Brazil after four months due to an avian flu outbreak. Gradual lifting of restrictions will occur if the epidemiological status remains stable, starting with Rio Grande do Sul on October 2. Brazil has not reported new outbreaks since mid-May 2025, which had previously affected its export status to the EU.
