The European Commission's decision to fine Credit Agricole and Credit Suisse for colluding on price fixing of dollar-denominated bonds has been upheld by European judges. This marks a victory for competition commissioner Margrethe Vestager, who will be replaced by Teresa Ribera in December. The fines imposed on the banks totaled €12.6 million for Bank of America, €11.9 million for Credit Suisse, and €3.9 million for Credit Agricole, while Deutsche Bank received immunity for cooperating with the investigation. The General Court confirmed that the banks' actions constituted a violation of EU antitrust rules. Teljes cikk (Euronews.com)
