Following the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest, concerns about the integrity of televoting have emerged, prompting 12 MEPs to write to the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) regarding potential irregularities. National broadcasters from several countries have raised suspicions of manipulation, particularly involving Israel's entry, which allegedly benefited from government promotion. Slovenian MEP Matjaž Nemec criticized the involvement of national governments and called for transparency and accountability in the voting process. Eurovision director Martin Green acknowledged the concerns and stated that they would be discussed in an upcoming meeting.
