Two explosions during a meeting between M23 rebel leaders and residents in Bukavu, eastern DRC, have resulted in numerous injuries. The M23 group, backed by Rwanda, has recently seized control of Bukavu and Goma, leading to increased violence in the region. Over 7,000 people have died this year due to the conflict, with accusations against M23 soldiers for serious crimes. The situation has drawn international attention, particularly from the EU, regarding Rwanda's involvement.
