The Cambridge Museum of Zoology is using AI technology to allow visitors to engage in real-time conversations with a virtual version of the extinct Mauritius dodo. This innovative experience enables discussions about the dodo's life and extinction, as well as ethical questions about cloning. The project features 12 other animal specimens, each with unique voices, and aims to provide an authentic interaction without anthropomorphizing the animals.
