Kenneth Iwamasa, Matthew Perry's personal assistant, has been sentenced to jail for conspiracy to distribute ketamine, which contributed to Perry's death. Iwamasa, who was trusted to help Perry with sobriety, became his chief enabler, administering illegal drugs. He initially denied involvement but later became a key witness for prosecutors. The trial highlighted the complexities of accountability in addiction, with Perry's business manager blaming Iwamasa for exacerbating Perry's struggles.
