Robert Fico, the Slovak Prime Minister, visited Moscow to discuss gas supplies with Russian President Vladimir Putin, as the current agreement with Gazprom is set to expire. The meeting was partly a response to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's opposition to Russian gas pipelines through Ukraine.
