First Hungarian athlete completes ice kilometre swim beyond both polar circles

Bulcsú Lengyel made history as the first Hungarian to swim one kilometer in Antarctica and recently completed another one-kilometer ice swim in Svalbard, becoming the 16th person globally to achieve this feat. The swim in Svalbard was easier to access than Antarctica, with a team of swimmers from various countries. The swim faced challenges due to water currents and temperature changes, but Lengyel managed to complete it successfully, highlighting the dangers ice swimmers face after exiting the water.
