Five additional suspects have been arrested in connection with the Louvre heist, as announced by Paris' public prosecutor, Laure Beccuau. The arrests occurred during coordinated raids in the Paris region, with one suspect linked to the original four-man team seen on CCTV. Two earlier arrested suspects have partially confessed, while the fourth remains at large. Investigators are examining phones and encrypted messages found during the raids. The heist, which occurred on October 19, involved the theft of €88 million worth of jewels, which have yet to be recovered. Security measures at the Louvre have since been tightened.
