Greece's Veterinary Directorate-General has lifted the ban on transporting aged dairy products from Lesbos, allowing visitors to take local cheeses home. This decision comes after a foot-and-mouth disease outbreak affected local herds, but now products aged over two months are deemed safe. The move is expected to boost the local economy during the busy tourist season.
