The César Academy has decided to quit the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) due to its owner Elon Musk's public positions that conflict with the Academy's values. This decision aligns with the Academy's commitment to ethics and integrity, especially in light of recent controversies surrounding Musk, including his support for far-right ideologies and comments related to historical guilt. The Academy is also enforcing a zero-tolerance policy regarding sexual violence within its ranks, suspending members under investigation. The 50th César Awards will be held in Paris on February 28.
